Journey Whales

This project is inspired by endless historical and mythological accounts of whales who have shown up to assist, protect, or guide fellow beings of many species.

These journey whales are small enough to hold in your hand, carry-on, or bedside table. They each come with a note card.

I’m always making them and so many can be found out in the world. I sometimes leave them in libraries, parks, bus stops and leave clues of their whereabouts on instagram. They can almost always be found in the galleries I work with and my studio shop.
