According to the Chinese Lunar calendar, 2019 is the year of the Earth Pig. As an artist who works with earth, I felt compelled to honor this earthly creature of the forest with its own series for 2019.
It is my guess the the memory of these clay molecules include many dreams of the legendary boars that helped primeval forests to thrive. May the wild boars of this series help us in the recovery of the wild forests of Earth and within ourselves.
