2019 is the year of the Earth Pig. To honor it, I am creating a series of earthenware boars.

Here in the Hawaiian archipelago, forests are the realm of the wild boar. It has been this way for centuries, generations. They are still plentiful here, but have disappeared from many other of the Earthʻs forests.

The Wild Boar of Beginnings opens this series. It is here to remind us that we are allowed to begin again.
